Michelin star rated Ai Fiori provided an exquisite dining experience for my recent birthday meal.

Like most restaurants with similar pedigree, the food isn’t the only highlight of the emprise, the service takes on an equivalent role.

ATMOSPHERE

Through the sliding doors of the Langham Hotel (and up the spiral staircase or elevator if you please) is where Ai Fiori is located. The restaurant provides a well-appointed bar area with a marble counter before you reach the dining room. The lighting is actually great for taking photos of food, which as anyone can tell you is usually not the case with restaurants. The crowd was an ecclectic mix of professionals clearly liberally extending happy hour.

The entire staff was immediately attentive to our needs, and I never needed to track down a server to pour more wine or water. Each course came swiftly with an explanation that wasn’t too lengthy. Overall, a great experience.
