During a recent trip to New Orleans, I went to an old favorite spot of mine, High Hat Café. Right on the corner of Freret and Jena streets, it’s located in an up-and-coming section of the Freret section of the city.
Make no mistake: Jean-Georges is not just a fine restaurant, it’s a luxury experience and a clinic in customer service.
The Winery is a curious artisanal wine store with a non-traditional selection, and some varieties you will only find in this particular spot.
